Volvo Rounds Out 2018 with Four More Automotive Awards

The 2019 model year was a very successful one for Volvo. The brand brought home dozens of prestigious awards for across its lineup. At the very end of 2018, Volvo brought home a few more accolades.

To start with, the XC40 and XC90 earned praise from the 2019 Consumer Guide awards. Both models came away with Automotive Best Buy recognitions. These awards pick the top-rated models from across the automotive industry to recommend to current shoppers. This year marks the third year in four that the XC90 has received an Automotive Best Buys recognition.

The recognition didn't stop there for the XC40. The compact SUV scored big as the Supreme Winner of the Women's World Car of the Year competition. This comes as little surprise, since the XC40 pragmatic interior design has earned the praise of a multitude of publications and organizations.

Some of Volvo's 2018 awards looked to the future, as the 360c autonomous concept won the Automotive Innovation category for the Design Best of the Year competition. The 360c is Volvo's vision for an autonomous transportation vehicle that doubles as a functioning office space.

The entire new Volvo lineup consists of awards-worthy vehicles. From the new S60 sedan to the V90 wagon and beyond, these cars are designed with excellence in mind.
